Hadith 1678

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ جَعْدَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «خَيْرُ فَائِدَةٍ أَفَادَهَا الْمَرْءُ الْمُسْلِمُ بَعْدَ إِسْلَامِهِ امْرَأَةٌ جَمِيلَةٌ، تَسُرُّهُ إِذَا نَظَرَ إِلَيْهَا، وَتُطِيعُهُ إِذَا أَمَرَهَا، وَتَحْفَظُهُ فِي غَيْبَتِهِ وَمَالِهِ وَنَفْسِهَا»
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "After accepting Islam, the greatest blessing for a Muslim is a beautiful wife who pleases him, obeys him, and protects his honor and wealth in his absence."
