بَابٌ فِي الْمُكَاتَبِ يَمُوتُ وَيَتْرُكُ وَرَثَةً وَعَلَيْهِ بَقِيَّةٌ مِنْ مُكَاتَبَتِهِChapter: The mukatab (contracted slave) dies leaving heirs and still owes part of his contract

سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أنا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ وَبَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَا: «لَا تَرِثُ الْمَرْأَةُ مِنَ الْوَلَاءِ إِلَّا مَا أَعْتَقَتْ، أَوْ أَعْتَقَ مَنْ أَعْتَقَتْ»
Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) and Ibrahim al-Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) say: "A woman inherits in wala' only from her emancipator or the emancipator of her emancipator."
