Hadith 1626

سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالَ: نا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، قَالَ: «الْمُدَبَّرَةُ لَا تُبَاعُ، وَلَا تُمْهَرُ، وَلَا تُوهَبُ، وَيَطَؤُهَا سَيِّدُهَا إِنْ شَاءَ، وَوَلَدُهَا بِمَنْزِلَتِهَا»
Saeed bin Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "A mudabbara slave woman should neither be sold, nor should her dowry be taken, nor should she be given as a gift, and her master, if he wishes, can have intercourse with her, and her children will be under his authority."
