سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، نَحْوَهُ، قَالَ: وَاسْمُهُ يَعْقُوبُ الْقِبْطِيُّ
Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The name of this slave was Yaqub Qibti.
Brief Explanation
The narration of Abu az-Zubair from Jabir is acceptable according to the hadith scholars, provided that the possibility of tadlis is removed.
