بَابُ لَا وَصِيَّةَ لِوَارِثٍChapter: No bequest for an heir
Hadith 1606

سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حُجَيْرٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا تَجُوزُ وَصِيَّةٌ لِوَارِثٍ»
Tawoos (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is not permissible to make a bequest in favor of an heir."
