Hadith 1552

سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أنا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، فِي رَجُلٍ أَوْصَى فِي مَرَضِهِ: إِنَّ حَدَثَ بِي حَدَثٌ - وَهُوَ يَنْوِي فِي مَرَضِهِ ذَلِكَ - فَغُلَامُهُ حُرٌّ , فَصَحَّ , قَالَ: «إِنْ شَاءَ بَاعَهُ»
Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "If someone, during his illness, made a will that if death comes to him, his slave is free, then he recovers, he may sell that slave."
