بَابُ الرَّجُلِ يُوصِي لِلرَّجُلِ فَيَمُوتُ الْمُوصَى لَهُChapter: A man bequeaths to another man, but the legatee dies
Hadith 1551

سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أنا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ: «إِذَا أَوْصَى الرَّجُلُ بِوَصِيَّةٍ فِي مَرَضِهِ ثُمَّ بَرَأَ فَلَمْ يُغَيِّرْ وَصِيَّتَهُ تِلْكَ حَتَّى يَمُوتَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ جَازَ مَا فِي وَصِيَّتِهِ»
Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "If someone made a will during illness, then recovered, and did not make any change in the will until he later died, then the will shall be executed."
