بَابٌ: هَلْ يُوصِي الرَّجُلُ مِنْ مَالِهِ بِأَكْثَرَ مِنَ الثُّلُثِChapter: Can a man bequeath more than a third of his wealth?
Hadith 1525

سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، وَخَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَا جَمِيعًا: أنا مُغِيرَةُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَكْرَهُ أَنْ يُوصِيَ الرَّجُلُ بِمِثْلِ نَصِيبِ بَعْضِ الْوَرَثَةِ وَإِنْ كَانَ أَقَلَّ مِنَ الثُّلُثِ "
Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) disliked that a person should make a bequest equal to any of the heirs, even if it was less than one third.
