سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أنا يُونُسُ، وَدَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ: «إِذَا أَقَرَّ الرَّجُلُ لِامْرَأَتِهِ بِصَدَاقِهَا عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ جَازَ لَهَا صَدَاقُ مِثْلِهَا»
Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "If someone acknowledges the dowry (mahr) of his wife at the time of his death, then it will be obligatory to give according to the mahr of women like her."
