سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ قَالَ: أنا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ فِي رَجُلٍ مَاتَ فَادَّعَى رَجُلٌ قِبَلَهُ دَيْنًا وَأَقَرَّ بِذَلِكَ بَعْضُ الْوَرَثَةِ، فَإِنْ أَقَرَّ مِنْهُمْ وَاحِدٌ فَعَلَيْهِ بِحِصَّتِهِ فِي نَصِيبِهِ وَإِنْ أَقَرَّ رَجُلَانِ أَوْ رَجُلٌ وَامْرَأَتَانِ جَازَ عَلَى جَمِيعِهِمْ "
Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "If someone claims a debt upon a deceased person and some of the heirs acknowledge it, then the one who acknowledged it is liable for the debt according to his share. If two men or one man and two women acknowledge it, then it will be binding upon all."
