بَابُ الرَّجُلِ يُعْتِقُ فَيَمُوتُ وَيَتْرُكُ وَرَثَةً ثُمَّ يَمُوتُ الْمُعْتَقُChapter on a man who frees a slave, then dies and leaves heirs, then the freed slave dies
Hadith 1448

سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أنا يُونُسُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، قَالَ: «إِذَا مَاتَ الْمُعْتَقُ نُظِرَ إِلَى أَقْرَبِ النَّاسِ إِلَى الَّذِي أَعْتَقَهُ فَيُجْعَلُ مِيرَاثُهُ لَهُ»
Ibn Sirin (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "When a freed slave dies, it should be seen who is the closest to the one who freed him; the inheritance should be given to that person."
