بَابُ الرَّجُلِ يُعْتِقُ فَيَمُوتُ وَيَتْرُكُ وَرَثَةً ثُمَّ يَمُوتُ الْمُعْتَقُChapter on a man who frees a slave, then dies and leaves heirs, then the freed slave dies
Hadith 1446

سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، أَنَّ شُرَيْحًا «كَانَ يَجْعَلُ الْوَلَاءَ لِابْنِ الْمُعْتِقِ لِصُلْبِهِ وَلَابْنِ ابْنِهِ»
Shurayh (may Allah have mercy on him) used to assign guardianship to the real son and grandson of the emancipator.
