بَابُ الرَّجُلِ يَصَّدَّقُ بِصَدَقَةٍ فَتَرْجِعُ إِلَيْهِ بِالْمِيرَاثِChapter on a man who gives charity and it returns to him through inheritance
Hadith 1421

سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أنا سَيَّارٌ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، فِي الرَّجُلِ إِذَا تَصَدَّقَ بِصَدَقَةٍ فَرَدَّهَا عَلَيْهِ الْمِيرَاثُ قَالَ الشَّعْبِيُّ: «كُلْ , فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمْ يُطْعِمْكَ حَرَامًا»
It is narrated from Al-Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) that if someone gave charity and then that wealth came back to him through inheritance, Al-Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "Eat it, Allah has not fed you anything unlawful."
