بَابُ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ عَلَى الْمِيرَاثِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُقْسَمَChapter on one who accepts Islam before the inheritance is distributed
Hadith 1391

سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ، قَالَ: «لَهُ أَنْ يَتَحَوَّلَ عَنْهُ إِنْ شَاءَ إِنْ لَمْ يَعْقِلْ عَنْهُ، فَإِذَا عَقَلَ عَنْهُ فَلَيْسَ لَهُ أَنْ يَتَحَوَّلَ إِلَى غَيْرِهِ»
Hammad (may Allah have mercy on him) says: "If someone has given blood money, then he no longer has the right to transfer it to another, and if he has not given blood money, then if he wishes, he may transfer it."
