بَابُ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ عَلَى الْمِيرَاثِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُقْسَمَChapter on one who accepts Islam before the inheritance is distributed
Hadith 1390

سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، فِي الرَّجُلِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ يُسْلِمُ عَلَى يَدَيِ الرَّجُلِ قَالَ: «لَهُ مِيرَاثُهُ وَيَعْقِلُ عَنْهُ»
Ibrahim Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) says: "Whoever accepts Islam at the hands of anyone among the people of the land, then he is his heir and the one responsible for paying blood money on his behalf."
