بَابُ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ عَلَى الْمِيرَاثِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُقْسَمَChapter on one who accepts Islam before the inheritance is distributed
Hadith 1388

سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، وَالْحَكَمِ بْنِ عُتَيْبَةَ «فِي الرَّجُلِ يُسْلِمُ فَيُوَالِي قَوْمًا أَنَّ لَهُمْ مِيرَاثَهُ وَجِنَايَتَهُ عَلَيْهِمْ»
Shu'bi and Hakam bin 'Utaybah (may Allah have mercy on them) used to say: "Whoever accepts Islam along with a people, then for them is his inheritance and blood money."
