حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ أَبِي سِنَانٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي الْهُذَيْلِ، قَالَ: كَانُوا يَكْرَهُونَ أَنْ يَقْرَؤُوا بَعْضَ الْآيَةِ وَيَتْرُكُوا بَعْضًا .
It is narrated from Ibn Abi Al-Hudhayl (may Allah have mercy on him) that the Companions disliked reciting only part of some verses and leaving out the rest.
