Hadith 1368

سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أنا يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي الرَّجُلِ إِذَا مَاتَ وَتَرَكَ أَبَاهُ مَمْلُوكًا قَالَ: «يُشْتَرَى مِنَ الْمَالِ ثُمَّ يُعْتَقُ، وَيُوَرَّثُ مَا بَقِيَ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "If someone dies and his father is a slave, then he should be bought from the wealth, set free, and the remaining wealth will be inheritance."
