بَابُ لَا يَتَوَارَثُ أَهْلُ مِلَّتَيْنِChapter on people of two religions not inheriting from each other
Hadith 1318

سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، وَهُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ: «لَا نَرِثُ أَهْلَ الْمِلَلِ وَلَا يَرِثُونَنَا»
It is narrated from Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) that Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "We do not make the people of another religion our heirs, nor do they make us their heirs."
