سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ الشَّعْبِيِّ، قَالَ: «إِنَّمَا طُرِحَتْ أُمُّ أَبِي الْأُمِّ لِأَنَّ أَبَا الْأُمِّ لَا يَرِثُ»
Saeed narrated that Ibn Abi Layla and Ash'ath reported from 'Amir Sha'bi regarding Sayyiduna 'Ali and Sayyiduna Zaid (may Allah be pleased with them) that they used to give inheritance to three grandmothers: two from the father's side and one from the mother's side, and they would give the sixth share to the nearest one.
