Hadith 124

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا، عَنْ لَيْثِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ: لَوَدِدْتُ أَنَّ الْأَيْدِيَ قُطِعَتْ فِي بَيْعِ الْمَصَاحِفِ .
It is narrated from Salim bin Abdullah (may Allah have mercy on him) that Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: I wish that the hands of those who buy and sell copies of the Qur'an would be cut off.
