سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْأَسْوَدِ، يَقُولُ: فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ فَقَالَ: «أَنْتَ رَسُولِي إِلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ أَنْ يَقْضِيَ بِذَلِكَ»
When this decision was mentioned to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: "Go as my representative to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Utbah (may Allah be pleased with him) so that he may also decide in the same manner."
