Hadith 1191

سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا أَبُو شِهَابٍ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ، عَمَّنْ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «فِي زَوْجٍ وَأَبَوَيْنِ، لِلزَّوْجِ النِّصْفُ وَلِلْأُمِّ ثُلُثُ مَا بَقِيَ»
Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Ali narrated from his father from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "In the matter of inheritance between a husband and parents, the husband will receive half, and the mother will be given one third of the remaining wealth."
