سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ أُتِيَ فِي امْرَأَةٍ وَأَبَوَيْنِ، فَجَعَلَهُمَا مِنْ أَرْبَعَةٍ .
It is narrated from Abu Qilabah (may Allah have mercy on him) that a case regarding a woman and her parents (concerning the division of inheritance) was presented to Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him), so he divided the inheritance into four shares.
