الْآيَةُ (13) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَيُسَبِّحُ الرَّعْدُ بِحَمْدِهِ وَالْمَلائِكَةُ مِنْ خِيفَتِهِ وَيُرْسِلُ الصَّوَاعِقَ فَيُصِيبُ بِهَا مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَهُمْ يُجَادِلُونَ فِي اللهِ وَهُوَ شَدِيدُ الْمِحَالِ}Verse (13) His saying, Exalted is He: {And the thunder exalts [Allah] with praise of Him—and the angels [as well] from fear of Him—and He sends thunderbolts and strikes therewith whom He wills; yet they dispute about Allah, and He is severe in assault}
Hadith 1164

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا مَهْدِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ، عَنْ غَيْلَانَ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: مَنْ سَمِعَ صَوْتَ الرَّعْدِ فَلْيَقُلْ: سُبْحَانَ مَنْ سَبَّحْتَ لَهُ، سُبْحَانَ اللهِ الْعَظِيمِ - مَرَّتَيْنِ .
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Whoever hears the sound of thunder should say: "Glory be to Him whom it glorifies, Glory be to Allah the Magnificent," twice.
