الْآيَةُ (11) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {لَهُ مُعَقِّبَاتٌ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ يَحْفَظُونَهُ مِنْ أَمْرِ اللهِ} الْآيَةَVerse (11) His saying, Exalted is He: {For each one are successive [angels] before and behind him who protect him by the decree of Allah} the verse
Hadith 1159

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يَقْرَأُ: لَهُ مُعَقِّبَاتٌ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَرُقَبَاءُ مِنْ خَلْفِهِ يَحْفَظُونَهُ مِنْ أَمْرِ اللهِ .
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to recite: "For him are successive angels before him and watchers behind him; they guard him by the command of Allah."
