حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ: { صُوَاعَ الْمَلِكِ }، قَالَ: إِنَاؤُهُ الَّذِي كَانَ يَشْرَبُ فِيهِ .
Saeed bin Jubair (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "Ṣuwā‘ al-Malik" means the king's ṣuwā‘, that is, the vessel in which the king used to drink.
