الْآيَةُ (60) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {إِنَّمَا الصَّدَقَاتُ لِلْفُقَرَاءِ وَالْمَسَاكِينِ} إِلَى قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: {وَاللهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ}Verse (60) His saying, Exalted is He: {Charity is only for the poor and the needy} to His saying: {And Allah is Knowing and Wise}
Hadith 1022

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ مُهَاجِرٍ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ أَبَا وَائِلٍ وَحْدَهُ، فَقَالَ: رُدَّهَا فَضَعْهَا مَوَاضِعَهَا، قُلْتُ: فَمَا أَصْنَعُ بِنَصِيبِ الْمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ ؟ قَالَ: رُدَّهُ عَلَى آخَرِينَ .
Abu Wa'il (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Return it and give it to its original rightful recipients. I asked: What should I do with the share of those whose hearts are to be reconciled (mu'allafatu al-qulub)? He said: Distribute it among the other rightful recipients.
