باب: المسبوق ببعض الصلاة يتم باقي صلاته ولا يسجد سجدتي السهو إذا لم يسه هو ولا الإمام
Chapter: One who has missed part of the prayer completes the rest of his prayer and does not perform the two prostrations of forgetfulness if neither he nor the imam forgot

لِقَوْلِهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَا أَدْرَكْتُمْ فَصَلُّوا وَمَا فَاتَكُمْ فَأَتِمُّوا ".
This is because of the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whatever (part of the prayer) you catch, pray it, and whatever you miss, complete it."
