قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ: هُمْ قَوْمٌ كَفَرُوا بَعْدَ إِسْلَامِهِمْ، مِثْلُ طُلَيْحَةَ وَمُسَيْلَمَةَ وَالْعَنْسِيِّ وَأَصْحَابِهِمْ.
Imam al-Shafi'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "These are people who disbelieved after accepting Islam, such as Tulayhah, Musaylimah, (al-Aswad) al-Ansi and their companions."
