قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ: بَلَغَنَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَوْ أُهْدِيَ إِلِيَّ ذِرَاعٌ لَقَبِلْتُ، وَلَوْ دُعِيتُ إِلَى كُرَاعٍ لَأَجَبْتُ ".
Imam al-Shafi'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "It has reached us that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'If a foreleg (of a goat) were given to me as a gift, I would certainly accept it, and if I were invited to (a meal of) a trotter (of a goat), I would certainly accept.'"
