Hadith 2780
ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُبَشِّرٍ ، نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ الْقَطَّانُ ، نا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، عَنْ وَرْقَاءَ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ مُجَاهِدٌ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَآهُ وَقَمْلُهُ يَسْقُطُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ وَهُوَ بِالْحُدَيْبِيَةِ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ : أَيُؤْذِيكَ هَوَامُّكَ ؟ ، قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، فَأَمَرَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَحْلِقَ وَهُوَ بِالْحُدَيْبِيَةِ ، وَلَمْ يُبَيِّنْ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُمْ يَحِلُّونَ بِهَا ، وَهُمْ عَلَى طَمَعٍ أَنْ يَدْخُلُوا مَكَّةَ ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى الْفِدْيَةَ ، فَأَمَرَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُطْعِمَ فَرَقًا بَيْنَ سِتَّةِ مَسَاكِينَ ، أَوْ يَهْدِي شَاةً ، أَوْ يَصُومَ ثَلاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ " .
Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw him while lice were falling onto his face; this was at the place of Hudaybiyyah. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked him: "Are the lice troubling you?" He replied: "Yes!" So the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered him to shave his head, even though he was at the place of Hudaybiyyah at that time, and the Prophet had not yet announced to the people that they would end their ihram there, because the people wanted to enter Makkah. Then Allah revealed the command of fidyah, so the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) instructed him to distribute one sa' among six poor people, or to sacrifice a goat, or to fast for three days.
Hadith 2781
ثنا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْمِصْرِيُّ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْفَارِسِيُّ ، قَالا : نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ، نا الْفِرْيَابِيُّ ، نا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ ، قَالَ : " مَرَّ بِهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُوقِدُ تَحْتَ قِدْرٍ لَهُ ، فَقَالَ : أَيُؤْذِيكَ هَوَامُّ رَأْسِكَ ؟ ، فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَحْلِقَ وَيَصُومَ ثَلاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ ، أَوْ يُطْعِمَ فَرَقًا بَيْنَ سِتَّةِ مَسَاكِينَ أَوْ يَنْسُكَ " . قَالَ سُفْيَانُ : فنزلت هَذِهِ الآيَةُ فَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ مَرِيضًا أَوْ بِهِ أَذًى مِنْ رَأْسِهِ فَفِدْيَةٌ سورة البقرة آية 196 بِهِ.
Sayyiduna Ka'b bin 'Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by him while he was kindling a fire under his cooking pot. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Are your lice troubling you?" Then the Prophet instructed him to shave his head and to either fast for three days, feed six needy people with a measure (of food) each, or offer a sacrifice. The narrator Sufyan (may Allah have mercy on him) states: (Regarding this incident) this verse was revealed: "But if any of you is ill or has an ailment in his scalp, (he should offer) a ransom."
Hadith 2782
ثنا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْمِصْرِيُّ ، وَأَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، وَأَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الأُبُلِيُّ ، قَالُوا : نا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ كَامِلٍ ، نا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبَّادٍ ، نا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الزَّنْجِيُّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَآهُ وَقَمْلُهُ تَتَسَاقَطُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ ، فَقَالَ : أَيُؤْذِيكَ هَوَامُّكَ ؟ ، قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَحْلِقَ وَهُوَ بِالْحُدَيْبِيَةِ ، وَلَمْ يُبَيِّنْ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُمْ يَحِلُّونَ بِهَا ، وَهُمْ عَلَى طَمَعٍ أَنْ يَدْخُلُوا مَكَّةَ ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى الْفِدْيَةَ ، فَأَمَرَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُطْعِمَ فَرَقًا بَيْنَ سِتَّةِ مَسَاكِينَ ، أَوْ يَهْدِيَ شَاةً ، أَوْ يَصُومَ ثَلاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ " .

حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُهْتَدِي بِاللَّهِ ، نا طَاهِرُ بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ التَّمِيمِيُّ ، نا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ ، نا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ مَاهَانَ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ ، وَأَيُّوبَ ، وَسَيْفٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ ، قَالَ : مَرَّ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُوقِدُ تَحْتَ قِدْرٍ لَهُ وَهُوَ بِالْحُدَيْبِيَةِ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَيُؤْذِيكَ هَوَامُّ رَأْسِكَ ؟ " ، قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : " احْلِقْ " ، فَأُنْزِلَتْ هَذِهِ الآيَةُ فَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ مَرِيضًا أَوْ بِهِ أَذًى مِنْ رَأْسِهِ فَفِدْيَةٌ مِنْ صِيَامٍ أَوْ صَدَقَةٍ أَوْ نُسُكٍ سورة البقرة آية 196 . فَالصِّيَامُ ثَلاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ ، وَالصَّدَقَةُ فَرَقٌ بَيْنَ سِتَّةِ مَسَاكِينَ ، وَالنُّسُكُ شَاةٌ .
Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed by him while he was kindling a fire under his cooking pot. This was during the incident of Hudaybiyyah. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked him: "Are lice troubling you?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Shave your head." (The narrator states) Then this verse was revealed: "So whoever among you is ill or has an ailment of the head, then (he should offer) a ransom of fasting or charity or sacrifice." The command for fasting is to fast for three days. By charity, it means to give one faraq to six needy people, and by sacrifice, it means to offer a goat.
Hadith 2784
ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُبَشِّرٍ ، نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ ، نا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، نا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدَ ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّ بِهِ وَلَهُ وَفْرَةٌ ، وَبِأَصْلِ كُلِّ شَعْرَةٍ وَبِأَعْلاهَا قَمْلَةٌ أَوْ صُؤَابٌ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ هَذَا الأَذَى أَمَعَكَ نُسُكٌ ؟ " ، قَالَ : لا ، قَالَ : " فَإِنْ شِئْتَ فَصُمْ ثَلاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ ، أَوْ أَطْعِمْ ثَلاثَةَ آصُعٍ مِنْ تَمْرٍ بَيْنَ كُلِّ مِسْكِينٍ صَاعٌ " .
Sayyiduna Ka'b bin 'Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by him; his hair was long, and there were lice at the roots and on the upper part of his hair. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "You are in difficulty. Do you have a sacrificial animal with you?" He replied: "No!" The Prophet said: "Then if you wish, fast for three days, or feed three sa's of dates (to the poor), giving each needy person one sa'."
