Hadith 2642
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُبَشِّرِ ، نا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ بَيَانٍ ، نا إِسْحَاقُ الأَزْرَقُ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلا يُلَبِّي عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِ فَدَعَاهُ ، فَقَالَ : " أَحَجَجْتَ قَطُّ ؟ " ، قَالَ : لا ، قَالَ : " فَاحْجُجْ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ ، ثُمَّ حُجَّ عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ " .
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) heard a man reciting the talbiyah on behalf of a person named Shubrumah. The Prophet (peace be upon him) called him and asked: "Have you ever performed Hajj yourself?" He replied: "No!" So the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Then first perform Hajj on your own behalf, and after that, perform Hajj on behalf of Shubrumah."
Hadith 2643
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ النَّقَّاشِ ، نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَحْمُودٍ ، نا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، نا خَالِدُ بْنُ صُبَيْحٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو ، بِهَذَا وَقَالَ : " هَلْ حَجَجْتَ ؟ " ، قَالَ : لا ، قَالَ : " هَذِهِ عَنْكَ وَحُجَّ عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ ".
This narration is also transmitted with another chain, however, in it the words are: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Have you performed Hajj?" He replied: "No!" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then this is on your own behalf, and afterwards you may perform Hajj on behalf of Shubrumah."
Hadith 2644
حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الأَنْصَارِيُّ ، نا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ صَدَقَةَ ، نا صَالِحُ بْنُ بَيَانٍ ، نا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَمِعَ رَجُلا يُلَبِّي عَنْ رَجُلٍ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ : " أَيُّهَا الْمُلَبِّي عَنْ فُلانٍ ، إِنْ كُنْتَ حَجَجْتَ حَجَّةَ الإِسْلامِ فَلَبِّ عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ ، وَإِلا فَلَبِّ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ " .
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) heard a man reciting the Talbiyah on behalf of another person, so he said to him: "O you who are reciting the Talbiyah on behalf of so-and-so! If you have performed the obligatory Hajj, then recite the Talbiyah on behalf of Shubrumah; otherwise, recite the Talbiyah on your own behalf."
Hadith 2645
نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُبَشِّرٍ ، نا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ بَيَانٍ ، نا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلا يُلَبِّي عَنْ نُبَيْشَةَ ، فَقَالَ : " أَيُّهَا الْمُلَبِّي عَنْ نُبَيْشَةَ ، هَذِهِ عَنْ نُبَيْشَةَ وَاحْجُجْ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ " . تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكُ الْحَدِيثِ ، وَالْمَحْفُوظُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ حَدِيثُ شُبْرُمَةَ.
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) heard a man reciting the talbiyah on behalf of a person named Nabishah. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "O you who are reciting the talbiyah on behalf of Nabishah! Is this for Nabishah? First perform Hajj on your own behalf." In narrating this report, the narrator named Hasan bin ‘Ammarah is alone, and he is considered unreliable in hadith. The authentic narration is the one transmitted from Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), and in it, the mention is of a man named Shubrumah.
Hadith 2646
نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدِ بْنِ حَفْصٍ ، نا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعْدٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمِّي ، نا أَبِي ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، نا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَعْنِي بِرَجُلٍ ، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ : لَبَّيْكَ عَنْ نُبَيْشَةَ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَا هَذَا الْمُهِلُّ عَنْ نُبَيْشَةَ ، هِيَ عَنْ نُبَيْشَةَ وَاحْجُجْ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ " .
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) passed by a man who was reciting the talbiyah on behalf of Nabishah. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "O you who are reciting the talbiyah on behalf of Nabishah! This will be for Nabishah; you should perform Hajj on your own behalf."
Hadith 2647
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ ، نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَحْمُودٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ، نا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، نا خَالِدُ بْنُ صُبَيْحٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلا يُلَبِّي عَنْ نُبَيْشَةَ ، فَقَالَ : " أَيُّهَا الْمُلَبِّي عَنْ نُبَيْشَةَ ، هَلْ حَجَجْتَ ؟ " ، قَالَ : لا ، قَالَ : " فَهَذِهِ عَنْ نُبَيْشَةَ ، وَحُجَّ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) heard a man reciting the talbiyah on behalf of Nabishah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O you who are reciting the talbiyah on behalf of Nabishah! Have you performed Hajj yourself?" He replied: "No!" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then this will be on behalf of Nabishah; you should perform Hajj on your own behalf."
Hadith 2648
نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، نا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مِدْرَارٍ ، نا عَمِّي طَاهِرُ بْنُ مِدْرَارٍ ، نا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَمِعَ رَجُلا يَقُولُ : لَبَّيْكَ عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ شُبْرُمَةُ ؟ " ، قَالَ : أَخٌ لِي ، قَالَ : " هَلْ حَجَجْتَ ؟ " ، قَالَ : لا ، قَالَ : " حُجَّ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ ، ثُمَّ احْجُجْ عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ " . هَذَا هُوَ الصَّحِيحُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، وَالَّذِي قَبْلَهُ وَهْمٌ ، يُقَالُ : إِنَّ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عُمَارَةَ كَانَ يَرْوِيهِ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ عَنْهُ إِلَى الصَّوَابِ ، فَحَدَّثَ بِهِ عَلَى الصَّوَابِ مُوَافِقًا لِرِوَايَةِ غَيْرِهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكُ الْحَدِيثِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ.
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) heard a man saying: "I am present on behalf of Shubrumah." The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked him: "Who is Shubrumah?" He replied: "He is my brother." The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked: "Have you performed Hajj for yourself?" He replied: "No!" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Perform Hajj for yourself first, then perform Hajj on behalf of Shubrumah." This narration transmitted from Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) is correct; the previously transmitted narration is mistaken, this has been stated. The narrator named Hasan bin ‘Ammarah transmitted it and then later retracted it, and began to transmit the correct narration, which is in accordance with the narration transmitted by other narrators from Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both). However, this person is, in any case, abandoned in hadith narration.
Hadith 2649
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، نا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ نَافِعٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ ، نا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْكُلَيْبِيُّ ، نا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ ذَكْوَانَ ، نا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلا يَقُولُ : لَبَّيْكَ عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " هَلْ حَجَجْتَ قَطُّ ؟ " ، قَالَ : لا ، قَالَ : " هَذِهِ عَنْكَ ، وَحُجَّ عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ " .

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "Have you performed Hajj for yourself first?" He replied, "No!" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Then perform Hajj for yourself first, and afterwards perform Hajj on behalf of Shubrumah."
Hadith 2650
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، نا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى ، نا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْكُلَيْبِيُّ ، نا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، مِثْلَهُ سَوَاءً.
This narration is also transmitted with another chain of transmission.
Hadith 2651
نا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ زَنْجُوَيْهِ ، نا الْفِرْيَابِيُّ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، نا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلا ، يَقُولُ : لَبَّيْكَ عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ ، فَقَالَ : " حَجَجْتَ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ ؟ " ، قَالَ : لا ، قَالَ : " عَنْ نَفْسِكَ فَلَبِّ " .
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) heard a man saying, "I am present on behalf of Shubrumah." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "Have you performed Hajj on your own behalf?" He replied, "No!" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Then recite the Talbiyah on your own behalf."
Hadith 2652
نا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، وَأَبُو عَلِيًّ الصَّفَّارُ ، وَابْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، قَالُوا : حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّاسٌ التَّرْقُفِيُّ ، نا الْفِرْيَابِيُّ ، نَحْوَهُ.

Hadith 2653
نا ابْنُ مُبَشِّرٍ ، نا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ بَيَانٍ ، نا إِسْحَاقُ الأَزْرَقُ ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى . ح وَنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْوَكِيلُ ، نا أَبُو بَدْرٍ عَبَّادُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ، نا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هَانِئٍ ، نا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى رَجُلٍ يُلَبِّي عَنْ رَجُلٍ ، فَقَالَ : " أَيُّهَا الْمُلَبِّي عَنْ فُلانٍ ، إِنْ كُنْتَ لَمْ تَحُجَّ حَجَّةَ الإِسْلامِ فَلَبِّ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a man who was reciting the Talbiyah on behalf of another person. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O you who are reciting the Talbiyah on behalf of so-and-so! If you have not made it obligatory (for yourself), then recite the Talbiyah on your own behalf."
Hadith 2654
ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، نا عَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، نا سُورَةُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ ، نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَجُلا يُلَبِّي عَنْ آخَرَ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ : " إِنْ كُنْتَ حَجَجْتَ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ فَلَبِّ عَنْهُ ، وَإِلا فَاحْجُجْ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates regarding the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): He heard a man reciting the talbiyah on behalf of another person, so he said to him: "If you have performed Hajj on your own behalf, then recite the talbiyah on his behalf; otherwise, perform Hajj on your own behalf."
Hadith 2655
نا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الأُبُلِّيُّ ، نا عُمَرُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ نَافِعٍ ، نا ثُمَامَةُ بْنُ عُبَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ : سَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلا ، يَقُولُ : لَبَّيْكَ عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ ، فَقَالَ : " حَجَجْتَ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ ؟ " ، قَالَ : لا ، قَالَ : " فَاحْجُجْ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ ، ثُمَّ حُجَّ عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) heard a man saying, "I am present on behalf of Shubrumah." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "Have you performed Hajj on your own behalf?" He replied, "No!" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Then perform Hajj for yourself first, and then afterwards on behalf of Shubrumah."
Hadith 2656
ثنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ صَاعِدٍ ، وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، قَالا : نا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ ، نا هُشَيْمٌ ، نا ابْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَمِعَ رَجُلا يُلَبِّي عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ ، فَقَالَ : " وَمَا شُبْرُمَةُ ؟ " ، قَالَ : فَذَكَرَ قَرَابَةً لَهُ ، فَقَالَ : " أَحَجَجْتَ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ ؟ " ، قَالَ : فَقَالَ : لا ، قَالَ : " فَاحْجُجْ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ ، ثُمَّ احْجُجْ عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ ".
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) heard a man reciting the talbiyah on behalf of Shubrumah, so he inquired: "Who is Shubrumah?" The man mentioned his relationship with him, so the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Have you performed Hajj for yourself?" The narrator states: The man replied, "No!" So the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then first perform Hajj for yourself, then perform Hajj on behalf of Shubrumah."
Hadith 2657
. وَنا هُشَيْمٌ ، نا خالِدٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلابَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، مثل حَدِيثِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى.
With another chain of narration, it is like the (previous hadith) of Ibn Abī Laylā.
Hadith 2658
نا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، نا هَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، نا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ ، عَنْ عَزْرَةَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَمِعَ رَجُلا يَقُولُ : لَبَّيْكَ عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ ؟ " ، قَالَ : أَخٌ لِي أَوْ قَرَابَةٌ لِي ، قَالَ : " هَلْ حَجَجْتَ قَطُّ ؟ " ، قَالَ : لا ، قَالَ : " فَاجْعَلْ هَذِهِ عَنْكَ ، ثُمَّ لَبِّ عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ " .
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) heard a man saying, "I am present on behalf of Shubrumah." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "Who is Shubrumah?" He replied, "He is my brother." (The narrator is in doubt; perhaps these are the words.) He mentioned his relationship, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Have you performed Hajj yourself?" He replied, "No!" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Then perform Hajj on your own behalf first, and afterwards perform Hajj on behalf of Shubrumah."
Hadith 2659
ثنا ابْنُ مُبَشِّرٍ ، نا أحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ ، نا علِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ ، نا عبْدَةُ بِهَذَا ، وَقَالَ : " فَاجْعَلْ هَذِهِ عَنْكَ ، ثُمَّ احْجُجْ عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ " .
This narration is also transmitted with another chain, however, in it are these words: "Perform it on your own behalf first, then later perform Hajj on behalf of Shubrumah."
Hadith 2660
نا علِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ ، نا ابْنُ أَبِي خَيْثَمَةَ ، نا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، وَيُوسُفُ بْنُ بُهْلُولٍ ، قَالا : نا عبْدَةُ ، بِهَذَا ، وَقَالَ لِي يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ : سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ عَبْدَةَ مَرْفُوعًا .
The same narration is transmitted with another chain as a marfu‘ hadith.
Hadith 2661
ثنا ابْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، نا إبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَتِيقُ ، نا الأَنْصَارِيُّ ، نا سعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ عَزْرَةَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلا ، يَقُولُ : لَبَّيْكَ عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ ، نَحْوَهُ.
This narration is also reported with another chain: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) heard a man saying, "I am present on behalf of Shubrumah." (After this, the hadith is as previously mentioned.)
Hadith 2662
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الدَّقِيقِيُّ ، نا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ ، أنا أَبُو يُوسُفَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ عَزْرَةَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَمِعَ رَجُلا يُلَبِّي عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ ، فَقَالَ : " مَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ ؟ " ، فَقَالَ : أَخِي أَوْ ذُو قَرَابَةٍ لِي ، قَالَ : " حَجَجْتَ ؟ " ، فَقَالَ : قَالَ : لا ، قَالَ : " فَاجْعَلْ هَذِهِ عَنْكَ ثُمَّ حُجَّ عَنْهُ " .
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) heard a man reciting the Talbiyah on behalf of Shubrumah, so he asked: "Who is Shubrumah?" He replied: "He is my brother, or there is some relation between me and him." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Have you performed Hajj for yourself?" He replied: "No!" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Perform Hajj for yourself first, then perform Hajj on his behalf."
Hadith 2663
ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ الْمُذَكِّرُ أَبُو يُوسُفَ ، نا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ عَزْرَةَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلا يُلَبِّي عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ ، فَقَالَ : " أَحَجَجْتَ ؟ " ، قَالَ : لا ، قَالَ : " لَبِّ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ ثُمَّ لَبِّ عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) heard a man reciting the talbiyah on behalf of Shubrumah, so he asked: "Have you performed Hajj for yourself?" He replied: "No!" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then recite the talbiyah for yourself first, and after that recite the talbiyah on behalf of Shubrumah."
Hadith 2664
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ ، نا ابْنُ أَبِي خَيْثَمَةَ ، نا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ ، نا غُنْدَرٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ عَزْرَةَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَجُلا يُلَبِّي عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ مَوْقُوفًا .
Saeed bin Jubair narrates about Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them): He saw a man reciting the Talbiyah on behalf of Shubrumah. This narration is transmitted as a mawquf narration.
