Hadith 2520
نا نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، إِمْلاءً ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الزِّبْرِقَانِ ، عَنْ هُدْبَةَ بْنِ الْمِنْهَالِ ، عَنْ أَبِي حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ : " وَاللَّهِ مَا كَانَتِ الْمُتْعَةُ إِلا لَنَا خَاصَّةً وَلِلْمُحْصِرِ " .
Ibrahim Taimi narrates from his father, from Sayyiduna Abu Dharr Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "By Allah! The command of Hajj Tamattu‘ was specified only for us or for that person who has been prevented (from completing Hajj)."
Hadith 2521
نا أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ صَاعِدٍ ، وَأَبُو حَامِدٍ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ، قَالا : نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الزِّيَادِيُّ ، نا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، نا رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ بِلالِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، فَسْخُ الْحَجِّ لَنَا أَوْ لِمَنْ بَعْدَنَا ؟ فَقَالَ : " لا بَلْ لَنَا " .
Harith bin Bilal narrates from his father: I asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Is the command to annul Hajj only for us, or for those who come after us as well?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "No! It is only for us."
Hadith 2522
نا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُعَدَّلُ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ ، نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ ، نا أَبُو غَسَّانَ ، نا قَيْسٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ مُتْعَةِ الْحَجِّ ، فَقَالَ : " هِيَ وَاللَّهِ لَنَا أَصْحَابَ مُحَمَّدٍ خَاصَّةً ، وَلَيْسَتْ لِسَائِرِ النَّاسِ إِلا لِلْمُحْصَرِ " .
Ibrahim Taimi narrates: His father reported this about Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him), that he was asked about Hajj Tamattu’, so he said: “By Allah! This is only specific for us, that is, the companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); it is not for the rest of the people. However, (among the rest of the people) its ruling is only for the one who has been prevented (from completing Hajj).”
Hadith 2523
نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَاسِينَ ، نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، نا عَبَّادُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنِ الْمُرَقَّعِ الأَسَدِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ : " لَمْ تَكُنْ مُتْعَةُ الْحَجِّ لأَحَدٍ أَنْ يُهِلَّ بِحَجَّةٍ ثُمَّ يَفْسَخُهَا بِعُمْرَةٍ ، إِلا لِلرَّكْبِ الَّذِينَ كَانُوا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) said: No one has the right to perform Hajj Tamattu’, that he enters into the state of Ihram for Hajj and then annuls it through ‘Umrah, except for those riders who were with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) (i.e., this is specific to the companions who were with the Prophet, peace be upon him).
Hadith 2524
نا نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبْدِ الْخَالِقِ ، نا أَبُو عُلاثَةَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ ، نا أبِي ، نا مُوسَى بْنُ أَعْيَنَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنِ الْمُرَقَّعِ الأَسَدِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " إِنَّهَا لَمْ تَكُنْ لأَحَدٍ مِنْ بَعْدِنَا أَنْ يُحْرِمَ أَحَدٌ مُهِلا بِحَجٍّ ، ثُمَّ يَفْسَخُ حَجَّهُ بِعُمْرَةٍ قَبْلَ الْحَجِّ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) said: After us, no one has the right to first enter into the state of Ihram for Hajj and then, before performing Hajj, annul it and convert it into ‘Umrah.
Hadith 2525
نا نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ النُّعْمَانِيُّ ، نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ ، نا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنِ الْمُرَقَّعِ الأَسَدِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ : " مَا كَانَ لأَحَدٍ أَنْ يُهِلَّ بِحَجَّةٍ ثُمَّ يَفْسَخُهَا بِعُمْرَةٍ ، إِلا لِرَكْبٍ كَانُوا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) said: No person has the right to annul his Hajj ihram by converting it to ‘Umrah after donning it; this ruling was only for those riders who were with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
