Hadith 2306
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَهْلِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ مِنْ أَصْلِهِ ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ الْحِمَّانِيِّ ، ثنا هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَمَرَ الَّذِي أَفْطَرَ يَوْمًا مِنْ رَمَضَانَ بِكَفَّارَةِ الظِّهَارِ " .
Mujahid narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered the person who broke his fast during the day in the month of Ramadan to pay the expiation (kaffarah) of zihar.
Hadith 2307
قَالَ : وَثنا هُشَيْمٌ ، ثنا لَيْثٌ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، مِثْلَهُ ، كَذَا فِي أَصْلِ أَبِي سَهْلٍ . وَالْمَحْفُوظُ عَنْ هُشَيْمٍ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، مُرْسَلا ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ . وَعَنْ لَيْثٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، مِثْلَهُ ، وَلَيْثٌ لَيْسَ بِالْقَوِيِّ.
Along with another narration, this statement is transmitted as a mursal narration from Mujahid, and in one narration, it is transmitted from Mujahid on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him). The narrator of this narration, Layth, is not reliable.
Hadith 2308
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُبَشِّرٍ ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، ثنا أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ الْقُرَظِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، " أَنَّ رَجُلا أَكَلَ فِي رَمَضَانَ ، فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُعْتِقَ رَقَبَةً ، أَوْ يَصُومَ شَهْرَيْنِ ، أَوْ يُطْعِمَ سِتِّينَ مِسْكِينًا " . أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ هُوَ نَجِيحٌ ، وَلَيْسَ بِالْقَوِيِّ.
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man ate during the month of Ramadan (i.e., broke his fast), so the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed him to free a slave, or fast for two months, or feed sixty needy people. The narrator named Abu Ma'shar is Najeeh, and this narrator is not reliable.
Hadith 2309
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الدَّقَّاقُ ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْحِمْصِيُّ ، ثنا أبِي ، ثنا أبِي ، ثنا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ عُبَيْدَةَ الْكَلاعِيُّ ، ثنا مُقَاتِلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ أَفْطَرَ يَوْمًا مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فِي الْحَضَرِ فَلْيُهْدِ بَدَنَةً ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَلْيُطْعِمْ ثَلاثِينَ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ لِلْمَسَاكِينِ " . الْحَارِثُ بْنُ عُبَيْدَةَ ، وَمُقَاتِلٌ ضَعِيفَانِ.
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him, reports regarding the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: "Whoever breaks a fast during the month of Ramadan while residing (not traveling), he should offer the sacrifice of an animal; if he cannot find it, then he should feed thirty sa’ of dates to the poor." The narrators of this narration, Harith bin Ubaidah and Muqatil, are weak.
Hadith 2310
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ شَبِيبٍ ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ بْنِ أَبِي خِدَاشٍ ، ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صُبَيْحٍ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ الْمَوْصِلِيِّ ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ ، عَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ الأَنْصَارِيِّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ أَفْطَرَ يَوْمًا مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ مِنْ غَيْرِ رُخْصَةٍ وَلا عُذْرٍ كَانَ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَصُومَ ثَلاثِينَ يَوْمًا ، وَمَنْ أَفْطَرَ يَوْمَيْنِ كَانَ عَلَيْهِ سِتُّونَ ، وَمَنْ أَفْطَرَ ثَلاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ كَانَ عَلَيْهِ تِسْعُونَ يَوْمًا " . وَلا يُثْبَتُ هَذَا الإِسْنَادُ وَلا يَصِحُّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ.
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever breaks one fast of Ramadan without a valid excuse or concession, then he must fast for thirty days; and whoever breaks two fasts, he must fast for sixty days; and whoever breaks three fasts, it is obligatory upon him to fast for ninety days." This statement is authentically transmitted with this chain, and it is not authentically transmitted from the narrator named Amr bin Murrah.
Hadith 2311
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، ثنا أَبُو أُمَيَّةَ الطَّرَسُوسِيُّ ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلاءُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ ، قَالا : نا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، ثنا مِنْدَلُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هَاشِمٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ أَفْطَرَ يَوْمًا مِنْ رَمَضَانَ مِنْ غَيْرِ عُذْرٍ فَعَلَيْهِ صِيَامُ شَهْرٍ " . مِنْدَلٌ ضَعِيفٌ.
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever does not fast for one day of Ramadan without a valid excuse, then fasting for a month will be required of him." The narrator of this narration, Mandil, is weak.
