Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from his father (Imam Muhammad al-Baqir, may Allah be pleased with him) the statement of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): Regarding the horse, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "One dinar will be paid for one horse." In narrating this report from Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (may Allah have mercy on him), the narrator named Ghorak is unique, and he is very weak.

Harithah bin Mudarrib narrates: Some people from Egypt came to Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him). They said: We have acquired some land and some slaves, and we wish to pay zakat on them. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I will not do what my two predecessors did not do, until I consult about this matter." Then Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) consulted the companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about this, and all of them approved it. Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) remained silent. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O Abu al-Hasan! Why are you not saying anything?" So Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The advice these gentlemen have given you is correct, but it is necessary that it should not be a tax that they would have to pay even after you." So Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) collected ten dirhams for each slave and made it obligatory to provide two jarib of wheat as monthly food. For a horse, he collected ten dirhams and made it obligatory to provide ten jarib of barley as monthly food. For an ordinary horse, he collected eight dirhams and made it obligatory to provide eight jarib of barley as monthly food. For a mule, he collected five dirhams and made it obligatory to give five jarib of barley as monthly food. The narrator named Abu Ishaq says: In the time of Hajjaj, this was collected from us, but our share was not given to us. The Sheikh (Imam Daraqutni) says: "Muqarrif" is a horse that runs slower than a fast horse.

Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) established the Sunnah regarding the dowry of women that it should be twelve uqiyah, and one uqiyah is forty dirhams, so this totals four hundred and eighty dirhams. And the Prophet of Allah also set this limit: the ritual bath (ghusl) for major impurity (janabah) will be with one sa’ of water, and ablution (wudu) will be with two ratl of water. One sa’ contains eight ratl. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also established this Sunnah: from the produce of the earth, that is, wheat, barley, raisins, and dates, when it reaches five wasq, and one wasq is sixty sa’, so this totals three hundred sa’ according to the sa’ related to the Sunnah. This narration has been transmitted from Mansur only by Salih bin Musa, and this person is weak in hadith.
