بَابُ وُجُوبِ الزَّكَاةِ بِالْحَوْلِ
Chapter on the obligation of zakat after a full year
Hadith 1883
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، ثنا فَضْلُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الأَعْرَجُ ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَوَّامِ وَهُوَ عِمْرَانُ الْقَطَّانُ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : إِنَّمَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا شَهِدُوا أَنْ لا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلاةَ وَآتَوُا الزَّكَاةَ ، مَنَعُوا مِنِّي دِمَاءَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ إِلا بِحَقِّهَا ، وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ وَاللَّهِ لَوْ مَنَعُونِي عَنَاقًا مِمَّا كَانُوا يُعْطُونَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، لأُقَاتِلَنَّهُمْ عَلَيْهِ " .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When they testify that there is no deity except Allah and that Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah, and they establish prayer and pay zakat, then they have protected their lives and their wealth from me, except for the due right, and their reckoning is with Allah the Exalted." (Then Sayyiduna Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, said) "By Allah! If they refuse to give me even a rope which they used to give to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), I will fight them over that as well."
Hadith 1884
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَامِدٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْجُنَيْدِ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ ، وَالْقَاسِمُ ابْنَا إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، قَالا : نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، قَالا : نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْجُنَيْدِ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ ، ومُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ الأَزْرَقُ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو طَالِبٍ الْحَافِظُ ، ثنا أَبُو النَّضْرِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ ، قَالُوا : نا أَبُو النَّضْرِ هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ ، ثنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الرَّازِيُّ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " أُمِرْتُ بِثَلاثَةٍ : أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَقُولُوا : لا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ ، وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلاةَ ، وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ ، فَإِذَا فَعَلُوا ذَلِكَ عَصَمُوا مِنِّي دِمَاءَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ إِلا بِحَقِّهَا ، وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have been commanded regarding three things: I have been commanded to fight the people until they acknowledge that there is no deity except Allah, they establish prayer, and they pay zakat. When they do this, they will protect their lives and wealth from me, except for the right of Islam, and their reckoning will be with Allah the Exalted."
Hadith 1885
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نَصْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَمْدَوَيْهِ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نَصْرِ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَنْبَسِ سَعِيدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي أبِي ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَشْهَدُوا أَنْ لا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ ، وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلاةَ ، وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ ، فَإِذَا فَعَلُوا ذَلِكَ حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيَّ دِمَاؤُهُمْ وَأَمْوَالُهُمْ وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have been commanded to fight the people until they testify that there is no deity except Allah, establish prayer, and pay zakat. When they do this, their lives and wealth will be protected from me, and their reckoning will be with Allah the Exalted."
Hadith 1886
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُهْتَدِي بِاللَّهِ ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مِهْرَاقٍ التَّمَّارُ ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، ثنا الْعَلاءُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَشْهَدُوا أَنْ لا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ ، وَيُؤْمِنُوا بِي وَبِمَا جِئْتُ بِهِ ، فَإِذَا أَقَرُّوا بِمَا جِئْتُ بِهِ عَصَمُوا مِنِّي دِمَاءَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ إِلا بِحَقِّهَا ، وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have been commanded to fight with the people until they bear witness that there is no deity except Allah, and they believe in me and in what I have brought. When they acknowledge what I have brought, they will protect their lives and their wealth from me, except for the right (of Islam) upon them, and their reckoning will be with Allah the Exalted."
