بَابُ الصَّلَاةِ فِي الْقَوْسِ وَالْقَرْنِ وَالنَّعْلِ وَطُرْحِ الشَّيْءِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ إِذَا كَانَ فِيهِ نَجَاسَةٌ
Chapter on praying with a bow, horn, or sandals, and discarding something with impurity during prayer
Hadith 1486
ثنا يَزْدَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْكَاتِبُ ، ثنا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ ، ثنا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الأَكْوَعِ ، قَالَ : سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الصَّلاةَ فِي الْقَوْسِ وَالْقَرْنِ ، فَقَالَ : " اطْرَحِ الْقَرْنَ وَصَلِّ فِي الْقَوْسِ " .
Sayyiduna Salamah bin Akwa’ (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: It was asked from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about performing prayer while wearing a quiver or a horn, so he said: “Remove the horn and perform prayer while wearing the quiver.”
Hadith 1487
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، ثنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَمِينَةَ ، ثنا صَالِحُ بْنُ بَيَانٍ ، ثنا فُرَاتُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ خُذُوا زِينَتَكُمْ عِنْدَ كُلِّ مَسْجِدٍ سورة الأعراف آية 31 ، قَالَ : الصَّلاةُ فِي النَّعْلَيْنِ ، وَقَدْ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي نَعْلَيْهِ فَخَلَعَهُمَا فَخَلَعَ النَّاسُ ، فَلَمَّا قَضَى الصَّلاةَ ، قَالَ : " لِمَ خَلَعْتُمْ نِعَالَكُمْ ؟ " ، قَالُوا : رَأَيْنَاكَ خَلَعْتَ فَخَلَعْنَا ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ أَتَانِي ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّ فِيهِمَا دَمُ حَلَمَةٍ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: (The command of Allah Almighty is): "Adorn yourselves at every time of prayer." He says: What is meant by this is to perform prayer wearing shoes. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed prayer wearing shoes, then he took them off, so the people also took off their shoes. When the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) completed the prayer, he asked: "Why did you people take off your shoes?" The people replied: We saw that you took off your shoes, so we also took them off. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Jibreel (peace be upon him) came to me and informed me that there was blood on them."
