Hadith 1418
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ صَاعِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْعَدَنِيُّ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ صَاعِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَكِيمٍ ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ ، ثنا جَابِرٌ ، ثنا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ شُبَيْلٍ الأَحْمَسِيُّ ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا قَامَ الإِمَامُ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ فَإِنْ ذَكَرَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَسْتَتِمَّ قَائِمًا فَلْيَجْلِسْ ، وَإِنِ اسْتَتَمَّ قَائِمًا فَلا يَجْلِسْ وَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ " . وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ ، ومُؤَمَّلٌ ، وَغَيْرُهُمَا ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ.
Sayyiduna Mughirah bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “When the imam stands up after performing two rak‘ahs (instead of sitting), if he remembers before standing up completely, he should sit down; but if he has stood up completely, then he should not sit down and should perform sajdah sahw (prostration of forgetfulness) afterwards.” Other narrators have transmitted it in the same way.
Hadith 1419
ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ النُّعْمَانِيُّ ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ بُدَيْلٍ ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُبَيْلٍ ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا شَكَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فَقَامَ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ فَاسْتَتَمَّ قَائِمًا فَلْيَمْضِ وَلْيَسْجُدْ سَجْدَتَيْنِ ، وَإِنْ لَمْ يَسْتَتِمَّ قَائِمًا فَلْيَجْلِسْ وَلا سَهْوَ عَلَيْهِ " .
Sayyiduna Mughirah bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “When a person is in doubt and stands up (instead of sitting) after completing a rak‘ah, then if he has fully stood up, he should continue his prayer in that state and later perform two prostrations of forgetfulness (sajdah sahw). But if he has not fully stood up, he should sit down, and in this case, sajdah sahw will not be obligatory upon him.”
Hadith 1420
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ مِرْدَاسٍ ، نا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، سَمِعْتُ أَحْمَدَ بْنَ حَنْبَلٍ ، يَقُولُ : لَمْ يَتَكَلَّمْ فِي جَابِرٍ فِي حَدِيثِهِ إِنَّمَا تَكَلَّمَ فِيهِ لِرَأْيِهِ ، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَجَابِرٌ عِنْدِي لَيْسَ بِالْقَوِيِّ فِي حَدِيثِهِ وَرَأْيِهِ.
