الصَّلَاةُ مَعَ الْمُصَلِّي وَحْدَهُ
Praying with someone praying alone
Hadith 1081
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَاعِدٍ ، ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الأَسَدِيُّ ، ثنا أبِي ، نا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَجُلا جَاءَ وَقَدْ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَامَ يُصَلِّي وَحْدَهُ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ يَتَّجِرُ عَلَى هَذَا فَلْيُصَلِّي مَعَهُ ؟ " .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man came while the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had already performed the prayer. That man stood up and began to pray alone, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Who will cooperate with him? Let him perform this prayer with him (again)."
Hadith 1082
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، نا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ بْنِ عِيسَى الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ، نا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ السَّلامِ الصَّدَفِيُّ ، نا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْمُخْتَارِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ ، عَنْ عِصْمَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ وَقَعَدَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ إِذْ دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ يُصَلِّي ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَلا رَجُلٌ يَقُومُ فَيَتَصَدَّقُ عَلَى هَذَا فَيُصَلِّي مَعَهُ ؟ " .
Sayyiduna Asmah bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was sitting in the mosque after having performed the Zuhr prayer, when a man entered and began to pray. So the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Will someone stand up and do a good deed with him by praying along with him?"
