بَابٌ فِي طَهَارَةِ الْأَرْضِ مِنَ الْبَوْلِ
Chapter on the purity of the ground from urine
Hadith 477
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ أَبِي حَيَّةَ ، نا أَبُو هِشَامٍ الرِّفَاعِيُّ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، نا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَمْعَانُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ فَبَالَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ، فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَكَانِهِ فَاحْتُفِرَ فَصُبَّ عَلَيْهِ دَلْوًا مِنْ مَاءٍ . فَقَالَ الأَعْرَابِيُّ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، الْمَرْءُ يُحِبُّ الْقَوْمَ وَلَمَّا يَعْمَلْ عَمَلَهُمْ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ " . سَمْعَانُ مَجْهُولٌ.
Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Once a Bedouin came and urinated in the mosque. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that the place be dug up and then a bucket of water be poured over it. The Bedouin said: "O Messenger of Allah! A person loves some people, even though he does not act like them." So the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He will be with those whom he loves." One of the narrators of this narration, Sim'an, is unknown.
Hadith 478
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، نا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، نا الْمُعَلَّى الْمَالِكِيُّ ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ ، فَقَالَ : يَا مُحَمَّدُ مَتَى السَّاعَةُ ؟ فَقَالَ : " وَمَا أَعْدَدْتَ لَهَا ؟ " ، قَالَ : لا وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ نَبِيًّا مَا أَعْدَدْتُ لَهَا مِنْ كَبِيرِ صَلاةٍ وَلا صِيَامٍ ، إِلا أَنِّي أُحِبُّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ، قَالَ : " فَإِنَّكَ مَعَ مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ " ، قَالَ : فَذَهَبَ الشَّيْخُ فَأَخَذَ يَبُولُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَمَرَّ عَلَيْهِ النَّاسُ فَأَقَامُوهُ ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " دَعُوهُ عَسَى أَنْ يَكُونَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ " ، فَصَبُّوا عَلَى بَوْلِهِ الْمَاءَ . كَذَا قَالَ يُوسُفُ : الْمُعَلَّى الْمَالِكِيُّ ، الْمُعَلَّى مَجْهُولٌ.
Sayyiduna Abdullah narrates: Once a Bedouin came to the service of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He was an old man. He said, "O Muhammad! When will the Hour (Day of Judgment) come?" The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "What preparation have you made for it?" He replied, "By the One Who has sent you with the truth, I have not prepared many prayers or fasts for it, but I love Allah and His Messenger." So the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "You will be with those whom you love." The narrator states: Then that old man went and wanted to urinate in the mosque. Some people passed by him and stopped him, so the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Let him do it! Perhaps he is a person of Paradise." Then those people poured water over his urine.
Hadith 479
ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ السِّجِسْتَانِيُّ ، نا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، نا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الْمَلِكِ بْنَ عُمَيْرٍ ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ مُقَرِّنٍ ، قَالَ : قَامَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَى زَاوِيَةٍ مِنْ زَوَايَا الْمَسْجِدِ فَانْكَشَفَ فَبَالَ فِيهَا ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " خُذُوا مَا بَالَ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ التُّرَابِ فَأَلْقُوهُ وَأَهْرِيقُوا عَلَى مَكَانِهِ مَاءً " . عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَعْقِلٍ تَابِعِيٌّ ، وَهُوَ مُرْسَلٌ.
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ma’qil (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Once a Bedouin stood at the edge of the mosque, removed his lower garment, and urinated there. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed: “Remove the soil from the place where he urinated and throw it away, and pour water over that spot.” The narrator of this report, Abdullah bin Ma’qil, is a Tabi’i, and this narration is “mursal.”
