بَابُ الْحُكْمِ فِي بَوْلِ الصَّبِيِّ وَالصَّبِيَّةِ مَا لَمْ يَأْكُلَا الطَّعَامَ
Chapter on the ruling of the urine of a boy and girl who have not yet eaten food
Hadith 467
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ ، ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْمُسَيَّبِيُّ ، نا أَبُو شِهَابٍ الْحَنَّاطُ ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ أَرْطَاةَ ، وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، وأَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ ، قَالا : نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَوَّانِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ ، نا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي الْقَاسِمِ النَّخَعِيُّ ، نا أَبُو شِهَابٍ عَبْدُ رَبِّهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ أَرْطَاةَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : بَالَ ابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخَذْتُهُ أَخْذًا عَنِيفًا ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّهُ لَمْ يَأْكُلِ الطَّعَامَ وَلا يَضُرُّ بَوْلُهُ " ، وَقَالَ دَاوُدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو : فَقَالَ : دَعِيهِ ، فَإِنَّهُ لَمْ يَطْعَمِ الطَّعَامَ فَلا يُقَذِّرُ بَوْلُهُ.
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Ibn Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) urinated on the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so I picked him up harshly. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He does not eat food, his urine does not cause any harm." In another narration, these words are mentioned: He said: "Leave him! For he does not eat food, his urine does not make things impure."
Hadith 468
نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الآدَمِيُّ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ الْعَبْدِيُّ ، نا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أبِي ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَرْبِ بْنِ أَبِي الأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَسْوَدِ الدِّيلِيِّ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ فِي بَوْلِ الرَّضِيعِ : " يُنْضَحُ بَوْلُ الْغُلامِ ، وَيُغْسَلُ بَوْلُ الْجَارِيَةِ " . قَالَ قَتَادَةُ : وَهَذَا مَا لَمْ يَطْعَمَا فَإِذَا طَعِمَا الطَّعَامَ غُسِلا جَمِيعًا .
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding the urine of a nursing boy: “Water should be poured over the urine of a boy, and the urine of a girl should be washed.” The narrator named Qatadah clarified this: “This is until both of them do not eat anything; if they start eating food, then (the clothes soiled with) the urine of both should be washed.”
Hadith 469
حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاضِي الْمَحَامِلِيُّ ، نا عَفَّانُ ، نا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَهُ . تَابَعَهُ عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ . وَوَقَفَهُ ابْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ.
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Water will be sprinkled over the urine of a boy, and the urine of a girl will be washed."
Hadith 470
وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الدَّقِيقِيُّ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ، نا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ ، نا هِشَامٌ صَاحِبُ الدَّسْتُوَائِيِّ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي الأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " بَوْلُ الْغُلامِ يُنْضَحُ ، وَبَوْلُ الْجَارِيَةِ يُغْسَلُ " . قَالَ قَتَادَةُ : هَذَا مَا لَمْ يَطْعَمَا فَإِذَا طَعِمَا غُسِلَ بَوْلُهُمَا.
A narrator named Qatadah has stated: "This is when they have not eaten anything; if they begin to eat, then the urine of both of them should be washed."
Hadith 470M
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُبَشِّرٍ ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَكِيلُ ، قَالا : نا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، نا يَحْيَى بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحِلُّ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ الطَّائِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو السَّمْحِ ، قَالَ : كُنْتُ أَخْدُمُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ قَالَ : " وَلِّنِي قَفَاكَ " ، فَأُوَلِّيهِ قَفَائِي ، وَأَنْشُرُ الثَّوْبَ ، يَعْنِي أَسْتُرُهُ ، فَأُتِيَ بِحَسَنٍ أَوْ حُسَيْنٍ فَبَالَ عَلَى صَدْرِهِ ، فَدَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَرَشَّهُ عَلَيْهِ ، وَقَالَ : " هَكَذَا يُصْنَعُ يُرَشُّ مِنَ الذَّكَرِ وَيُغْسَلُ مِنَ الأُنْثَى " .
Sayyiduna Abu Samh (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I used to serve the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). When he wanted to perform ghusl (ritual bath), he would say to me: "Turn your face away." So I would turn my face away and provide a screen. (Once, after he had performed ghusl,) either Imam Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) or perhaps Imam Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) was brought to him, and he urinated on the Prophet’s chest. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called for water and sprinkled it over the area, and said: "If a boy urinates, it should be sprinkled in this way, and if a girl urinates, it should be washed."
Hadith 471
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْبَخْتَرِيِّ ، نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْخَلِيلِ ، ثنا الْوَاقِدِيُّ ، نا خَارِجَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : " أَصَابَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْ جِلْدَهُ بَوْلُ صَبِيٍّ وَهُوَ صَغِيرٌ فَصَبَّ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْمَاءِ بِقَدْرِ الْبَوْلِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The blessed body or skin of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was touched by the urine of a minor, young child, so he sprinkled water on the place where the urine had touched.
Hadith 472
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْفَارِسِيُّ ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، نا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، فِي بَوْلِ الصَّبِيِّ ، قَالَ : " يُصَبُّ عَلَيْهِ مِثْلُهُ مِنَ الْمَاءِ ، قَالَ : كَذَلِكَ صَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِبَوْلِ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا " . إِبْرَاهِيمُ هُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي يَحْيَى ضَعِيفٌ.
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said regarding the urine of a child: "Water should be sprinkled on the part where it has touched." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) stated: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) did the same when the urine of Imam Husayn bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) touched him. The narrator of this narration is Ibrahim, the son of Abu Yahya, and he is weak.
