Hadith 417
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Sarjis (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade that a man should perform ghusl (ritual bath) with water left over by a woman, or a woman should perform ghusl with water left over by a man. However, both of them can perform ghusl together. The narrator named Shu’bah has narrated the opposite of this.
Hadith 418
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Sarjis (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: "A woman can perform ablution or ghusl with the leftover water from a man’s ghusl or ablution, but a man cannot perform ablution with the leftover water from a woman’s ghusl or ablution." This narration is more authentic as a "mawquf" report and this is more correct.
