بَابُ التَّنَشُّفِ مِنْ مَاءِ الْوُضُوءِ
Chapter on drying after ablution
Hadith 388
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، نا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى ، نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُعَاذٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : " كَانَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خِرْقَةٌ يَتَنَشَّفُ بِهَا بَعْدَ وُضُوئِهِ " . أَبُو مُعَاذٍ هُوَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ أَرْقَمَ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ.
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had a specific cloth with which he would dry the limbs of ablution. The narrator of this narration is Abu Mu'adh, Sulaiman bin Arqam, and he is abandoned (matruk).
Hadith 389
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ الأَزْرَقُ ، نا عَنْبَسَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الأُمَوِيُّ ، نا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : " تَوَضَّأَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَأَخَذْتُ مِنْ وُضُوئِهِ فَصَبَبْتُهُ فِي بِئْرِي " .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution, and I took the leftover water from his ablution and poured it into my well.
