بَابُ الْوُضُوءِ بِفَضْلِ السِّوَاكِ
Ablution with the Remainder of the Toothstick
Hadith 92
نا نا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، نا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُجَشِّرٍ ، نا هُشَيْمٌ ، أنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ : " أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَأْمُرُ أَهْلَهُ أَنْ يَتَوَضَّئُوا بِفَضْلِ السِّوَاكِ " .
Qais reports about Sayyiduna Jarir (bin Abdullah Bajali, may Allah be pleased with him): He used to instruct his household to perform ablution with the water in which a miswak had been placed.
Hadith 93
نا نا الْحُسَيْنُ نا حَفْصُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، نا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، ثنا قَيْسٌ ، قَالَ : كَانَ جَرِيرٌ ، " يَقُولُ لأَهْلِهِ : تَوَضَّئُوا مِنْ هَذَا الَّذِي أَدْخَلَ فِيهِ سِوَاكَهُ " . هَذَا إِسْنَادٌ صَحِيحٌ.
Qais narrates: Sayyiduna Jarir (bin Abdullah Bajali, may Allah be pleased with him) used to instruct his family: Perform ablution with the water in which I have placed my miswak. Its chain of narration is "Sahih" (authentic).
Hadith 94
نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ الضَّبِّيُّ ، نا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ شَاذَانُ ، نا سَعْدُ بْنُ الصَّلْتِ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ الأَعْوَرِ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ يَسْتَاكُ بِفَضْلِ وُضُوئِهِ " .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform miswak with the leftover water of ablution.
Hadith 95
نا ابْنُ أَبِي حَيَّةَ ، نا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْرَائِيلَ ، نا يُوسُفُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، نا الأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ يَسْتَاكُ بِفَضْلِ وُضُوئِهِ " .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform miswak with the leftover water from his ablution.
