فَضْلُ الصَّلَاةِ فِي أَوَّلِ الْوَقْتِThe virtue of praying at the beginning of its time
Hadith 984

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الدَّقَّاقُ ، نا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ ، حَدَّثَنِي فَرَجُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الْمُهَلَّبِيُّ ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَوَّلُ الْوَقْتِ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ ، وَآخِرُ الْوَقْتِ عَفْوُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " .
Sayyiduna Jarir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The beginning time of prayer is a means of attaining Allah's pleasure, and its ending time is a means of attaining Allah's forgiveness."
