فَضْلُ الصَّلَاةِ فِي أَوَّلِ الْوَقْتِThe virtue of praying at the beginning of its time

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نُوحٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الَّرَبِيْعِ الْحَارِثِيِّ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، نا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ غَنَّامِ الْبَيَاضِيِّ ، عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ مِنَ الْمُبَايِعَاتِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ : أَيُّ الأَعْمَالِ أَفْضَلُ ؟ قَالَ : " الإِيمَانُ بِاللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " ، قِيلَ : ثُمَّ مَاذَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : " الصَّلاةُ لِوَقْتِهَا " .
Qasim bin Ghannam narrates regarding the woman who accepted Islam at the blessed hand of the Prophet (peace be upon him): The Prophet (peace be upon him) was asked, "Which deed has the most virtue?" He replied, "To have faith in Allah Almighty." It was asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Then which one?" He said, "To perform the prayer at its appointed time."
