فَضْلُ الصَّلَاةِ فِي أَوَّلِ الْوَقْتِThe virtue of praying at the beginning of its time

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ صَاعِدٍ ، إِمْلاءً ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ الْعَتَكِيُّ ، بِالْبَصْرَةِ ، ثنا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ غَنَّامٍ ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ فَرْوَةَ ، كَذَا قَالَ ، قَالَتْ : سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ عَنْ أَفْضَلِ الأَعْمَالِ ، فَقَالَ : " الصَّلاةُ لأَوَّلِ وَقْتِهَا " .
Sayyida Umm Farwah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked, and I was listening, he was asked about the most virtuous deed, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "To perform the prayer at its earliest time."
