Amr Shaybani narrates: The owner of this house, while pointing towards the house of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), related this to us, but did not mention his name: I asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Which deed is the most virtuous?" He (peace be upon him) said: "To perform the prayer at its earliest time." I asked: "Then which one?" He said: "Striving in the way of Allah." I asked: "Then which one?" He said: "Treating parents with kindness." (Sayyiduna Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him, says) If I had asked him further, he would have given me more answers.
