Hadith 965

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْبَزَّارُ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْحَسَّانِيُّ ، نا وَكِيعٌ ، نا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَنْعَمَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا صَلاةَ بَعْدَ طُلُوعِ الْفَجْرِ إِلا رَكْعَتَيْنِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "After the true dawn appears, only two rak‘ahs (i.e., the Sunnah of Fajr) will be performed (among the voluntary prayers)."
